To some, the word "underground" is synonymous with poor quality and clunky production. To American rapper, songwriter and producer Serial Bull, "underground" means having the freedom to make music your own way. Although a proud Chicago native, Serial Bull doesn't ascribe strongly to one genre, style or region, preferring that fans judge his music on its own merits rather than its labels. Whether he's making beats or rapping, however, Serial Bull's focus is on quality with an emphasis on holistic involvement in the music-making process. All design work (including this website), music, production, lyrics and marketing is done by the artist himself (yes, he's speaking in third person). And it is his belief that this, not the presence of a corporate label, is what truly leads to the best music. Listen and judge for yourself.
